This is a very special grinder. It belonged to Roderick "Caribou" Chappel, arguably one of the best American Knifemakers from the Golden Age of American Knifemaking. I purchased this grinder/ sander from his apprentice Dan Lombardo last year and due to some unexpected circumstances had to move over the summer.

This listing is for a SINGLE (ONE) KMG style tooling arm. It is made of 1.5"x1.5" 6061 aluminum, 22.75" long and has two 1/2-13 threaded holes and two 3/8-16 threaded holes. This is just like the KMG arm but at a significant cost savings.

beautiful and very functional ultra precision knife edge square , with black diamon checkerd inlay holding grips, with leather pouch, slight aging on lower area but otherwise in exceptional condt, / no initials date or company, probably made on company time , but made by a master toolmaker, probably a GEE job,, be the envy of the tool room when you pull this out for the first time, and there after,a must own for a shop owner or experienced tool maker
