You are bidding on an Excellent quality Stuart Turner Beam Steam Engine. I had this engine for many years, its workmanship is excellent and it runs very smooth at 1 to 2.5 psi. Very difficult to find a Stuart beam with such quality. The engine was machined in 1968, and it comes with the original Stuart steam chest valve. The use of Watts parallel motion links makes this engine fascinating to watch, particularly at slow speeds. The Aluminum plate holding the engine together is 3/8" and the holes through the Aluminum are threaded. The Brass bolts are holding the beautiful wood base plate to the 3/8" Aluminum, and the Brass nuts are holding the engine onto the Aluminum plate, making the Cast Iron engine, Aluminum plate, and wood base "one solid entity". Everything is perfectly leveled. Some steam oil residues are on the metal and paint. I am leaving the good cleaning to the future owner. No rust.  Happy New Year everyone. Specifications: Length 13 Inches. Flywheel Diameter 7 Inches. Bore 1 Inch Diameter. Stroke 2 Inches.
