Light Grey First photograph closest to actual color  WARD'S  Trinocular Zoom Stereo Microscope  0.7x to 4.5x Zooming Dual HWF10X Eyepieces with trinocular photo tube holding WF10X/S Eyepiece Built-in Incident and Transmitted Illumination and Manual, albeit slightly creased Provides sharp images (see photographs) __________ It is supplied, as are all Greenough stereomicroscopes, with dual porro prisms. This Greenough microscope is named after its American inventor Horatio Saltonstall Greenough.  The microscope has two dual HWF10X/S eyepieces with dual eye cups. Eyepiece exit lenses are relatively large. This stereomicroscope substantial. It weighs approximately 11 pounds 10.6 ounces. It is approximately 17-1/4 inches tall, including trinocular, in working position as shown.  It has a large working distance.  It has a new, still sealed, dual stage plate that is black on one side and white on the other.  The stand provides built-in incident and transmitted light. A frosted or clear glass stage plate is suggested for transmitted light. The microscope allows for adjustments for interpupillary distance. One eyepiece lens allows independent diopter adjustment, to accommodate differences in visual acuity between left and right eyes. Moving the long rod, with terminating knurled knob, transfers the left eyepiece light to the trinocular. The zoom magnifications available are shown on a graduated ring at the distal end of the body. This stereomicroscope has a built-in “Jug Handle” to allow for ease in carrying. This highly capable stereomicroscope is in almost new condition.  The pictures seen through this microscope, and included above, use the stereomicroscope at both its lowest and highest magnifications. The picture with the pointer is taken through the trinocular photo tube, the other pictures are taken through the eyepiece lenses. The photographs through the instrument are of President Lincoln’s face from the front of a USD $5 bill.  The bill is not included in this sale.   ______________________________ The Vendor: Ward’s Science From the Ward’s Science URL we learn, “Ward's Science History  Connecting Over 150 Years of Science Exploration, to Tomorrow's Science Innovation Henry Augustus Ward, 1834-1906 Not many institutions can boast of a founder who traveled around the world seven times, sat atop Mt.
